LORRAINE’S STORY

I come from a family that has experienced numerous sudden deaths, including my 33 year old sister and 25 year old nephew (mother and son). 

After many years of searching, a channelopathy, catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT) was discovered.

It is my aim to raise awareness and use research to prevent sudden death in other families. Through ERN-GUARD-Heart I am now connected with a wide network of experts who share the same passion for preventing and reducing the impact of sudden cardiac death.
