JARDIN participates in CSUR's 15th anniversary in Spain

“Sustainability, integration and equity”

JARDIN took part in the presentations celebrating 15 years of CSUR in Spain, organised by the Spanish Ministry of Health, which took place in Madrid on 25th June 2024.

Taking advantage of the connection of the CSURs (Reference Centres, Services and Units) with the ERNs (European Reference Networks), Dr. Yadira Bravo presented JARDIN, the Joint Action for the integration of ERNs in the National Health Systems, and highlighted the importance of the sustainability of the Joint Action to achieve integration and equity.

JARDIN wanted to join this celebratory meeting to improve the visibility and awareness of the CSUR Project of the Spanish National Health System, the European Reference Networks and the new Patient Care Network Platform.

Dr. Yadira Bravo, responsible for Work Package 2 of the Joint Action, explained JARDIN’s role in the national health system in Spain, presenting an explanatory video focusing on the pathway of people living with rare diseases or complex conditions within the health system and its connections with CSURs and ERNs.

“The most important thing is sustainability”, highlighted Yadira Bravo, «so that aid reaches those who need it».

JARDIN supported this initiative to define the future of CSURs and to continue working for equity and care for people living with rare diseases or complex conditions.
