Join the JARDIN Hackathon on Health Data Federated Querying!

The JARDIN’s Challenges in Health Data Federated Querying Hackathon aims to identify key challenges in harmonising (sensitive) health data across multiple institutions and to explore existing solutions that address these challenges. For instance, enabling federated queries—where insights can be gained without exposing the underlying sensitive data—is crucial for advancing research while maintaining patient privacy and data security.

Addressing this challenge requires a diverse range of expertise, making the hackathon not only a space for problem-solving but also a valuable opportunity for participants to learn from each other’s perspectives and skill sets.

In this hackathon, we will work on repurposing existing solutions to addressing three challenges related to data querying:
– Harmonising exports from healthcare provider systems
– Tools and techniques for federated querying
– Semantic/FAIR representation of data services

We welcome participants from various backgrounds, including:

Clinicians and data stewards involved in data collection and management, Data analysts and developers working on data processing, Semantic web and data modelling experts focused on data querying and harmonization.

Join us in shaping the future of digital healthcare!
