On Friday, 27 February 2026, the Hospital Universitario La Paz will host the I Update Day on Rare Hepatic Diseases: From Early Diagnosis to Person-Centred Care, a focused educational event on liver-related rare diseases. The conference will take place from 10:00 to 12:30 in the Aula Ortiz Vázquez at Hospital La Paz in Madrid.
This meeting is designed to provide an integral overview of rare hepatic conditions, covering topics such as early diagnosis, clinical challenges in both adult and paediatric populations, therapeutic approaches, the role of the healthcare system and the importance of humanised care with inclusion of the patient voice.
