In the summer of 2017, age 52, I was diagnosed with Relapsing Polychondritis. An autoimmune disease that affects cartilage, joints, organs and nerves etc. with inflammations. For me it now affects seeing, hearing, nose cartilage and ankles cartilage.
Although I can no longer work or be as active, I choose to look forward to what I can do. Today I have doctors in various healthcare units (SE) to help me.
My hope are that the research being done around the world will help me and people in my situation. I am so grateful that I have found friends in a similar situation around the world through internet groups. I am not alone!
