‘Together strong for rare: regionally, nationally and European connected’.

On 4 April 2025, patient alliance VSOP and Dutch Federation of University Medical centers NFU will jointly organise the National Conference Rare Diseases 2025 for the second time.
The theme of this one is ‘Together strong for rare: regionally, nationally and European connected’. We delve into the question of how cooperation and networking at different levels – from regional initiatives to European collaborations – can lead to better care, innovative research and better support for people with rare disorders.
The conference offers a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals, patient organisations, researchers and policymakers to exchange knowledge and experiences, gain new insights and jointly improve care for rare disorders.
