Rare Disease Day in Luxembourg
On the occasion of Rare Disease Day 2025, the non-profit patients’ organization ALAN Maladies Rares Luxembourg will launch several actions to increase awareness and understanding for rare diseases and complex conditions.
The “Daily Distortion” project
In collaboration with artist Yannick Tossing, ALAN Maladies Rares Luxembourg is launching a new awareness project entitled «Daily Distortion.» The project symbolizes the impact of a rare disease on the daily life and the distortion of rare disease patients compared to what is considered being «normal.» The launch of the exhibition will take place on February 28, 2025, in the presence of the Minister of Health and Social Security.
The Global Chain of Lights
Many prestigious buildings will be illuminated in blue, pink, green and purple during the last week of February 2025.
